First, they recap Mike's coverage of the Backyard Brawl between West Virginia and Pitt and what it says about college football. They then dive into a discussion about the expanded college football playoff and if an 8-team playoff would've made more sense than jumping to 12.
In the second half of the show, they preview the NFL season and debate which teams will surprise and disappointment. Mike also offers his annual Aaron Rodgers rant.
