The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show

Aug 17, 2020

The return of sports to our lives has been far from simple. George "the Howitzer" Gerbo and Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti discuss the complex nature of sports during a global pandemic.

With some major conferences opting out of playing in the Fall and others attempting to push forward, George and Mike talk in-depth about who really has the power and the motivating factors around each decision. Will any teams go rogue and try to play against the wishes of their own conference? Can college football work in the Spring? Mike says absolutely...not.

While college football's immediate future is still in doubt, the NHL and NBA are finally in the midst of their respective playoffs. Which teams are benefitting the most from the bubble playoffs? Why have there been so many upsets?

Lastly, MLB is playing, but far from having success doing so. Should the season be continuing in light of so many positive cases?

The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
