The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show

Feb 9, 2018

One of the most asinine NFL seasons comes to a close with an end to a long title drought and drama surrounding a dynasty.

George "the Howitzer" Gerbo and Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti recap the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LII win over the New England Patriots, discussing the improbable success of Nick Foles, if the Eagles did more to win or the Patriots did more to lose the Super Bowl and if some controversial calls could have changed the outcome.

Will the truth behind Malcolm Butler's benching ever be fully explained or will we never know the reasons behind why a former Super Bowl hero did not receive a defensive snap in the biggest game of the year? The Howitzer and Buzz-saw also touch on another Patriots soap opera after Josh McDaniels decides to stay in New England only hours after being announced as the next head coach in Indianapolis.

If all that drama wasn't enough, the Pro Football Hall of Fame unveils its latest class, a class that finally includes legendary receiver Terrell Owens. But TO is taking out his frustration with the voters by not cooperating. Mike explains why TO's actions are exactly what the Hall of Fame voters deserve.
