The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show

May 31, 2020

It may look a bit crazy. It may not be what you're used to. It may even be somewhat complicated to follow. But sports are slowly but surely returning to our lives. George "the Howitzer" Gerbo and Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti discuss the plans by several major professional leagues to return to action on the latest edition of "the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show" podcast.

In a shocking development, the NHL is actually out in front with a plan to return. Mike explains why he feels the NHL over-complicated things and the guys also discuss how this plan could impact the next season.

Like it or not, the NHL at least announced a plan, something the NBA has not yet done (when this show was recorded). What should the NBA do? And is there any validity to the rumor of a play-in tournament and changing the matchups all together?

Does Mike convince George of his "scrap it" philosophy by the end of the show? MLB's war between owners and players may help. Will there be baseball at all?

The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
